Welder / Fabricator (Tig, Mig and Aluminium)
Salary up to £13.00 per hour (£26,364)
39 hours per week.
8.00am - 5.00pm Monday to Thursday
8.00am - 1.00pm Friday

I am recruiting for a Welder / Fabricator with experiences of Tig, Mig and Aluminium Welding.
The hours of work are 8am - 5pm Monday - Thursday with half an hour for lunch and 8am - 1pm on Fridays.
Principal duties and responsibilities
TIG & MIG Welding a range of materials, primarily aluminium and mild steel, to 'Production Issue' drawings.
You will be expected to fabricate the required items within the necessary tolerances, and you may also be expected to use a variety of the following machinery to assist with production, as follows:
- CNC Press Brake.
- CNC Guillotine.
- Manual Punch.
- Pillar & hand-held drills.
- Manual 'chop' saws.
- Other forms of machinery that become available to the department, after necessary training.
Ideally applicants should have some form of experience in some or all of the above tasks, have the ability to read detailed CAD drawings, be self-motivated and be able to work unsupervised under their own initiative.
Ensuring that you work safely at all times, in order that you do not put yourself or other people at risk as a result of anything you do, either whilst working in Andover, Hampshire.
Ensure that any Health and Safety related issues - that either effect yourself
or other members of the team - are reported to your Supervisor/Manager.
Attend any relevant training and development sessions/courses in order to further develop your knowledge and skills.
Ensure that you carry out your responsibilities in a safe and proper manner both for yourself and for the wellbeing of others.
Cooperate in all matters of health and safety and ensure that in anything you do you aim to protect the environment.
Ensure that a high standard of quality, delivery of service and customer care is always achieved.
