CMD Recruitment Ltd is working for a Charity that has a proud history of supporting those in our communities who are disadvantaged or have a disability, to find and keep employment

The Charity has a position for a personal champion (employment advisor) to join their dynamic team, working across the whole of the Dorset Region to support participants to move towards and into employment.
They are looking for an experienced Personal Champion to join the team to support the project.
The project is funded by the European Social Fund and the National Lottery Community Fund. The project will run from 1st June 2017 until 31st December 2019.

As a Personal Champion you will effectively manage a caseload of participants to progress and achieve required outcomes on the Building Better Opportunities in Dorset. supporting them to identify and break down barriers to achieve contract progressions. You will engage participants, provide initial assessment and undertake effective and agreed action planning
You will work with a range of partners and voluntary organisations to address identified needs including mental health issues, drugs and alcohol addiction, learning difficulties and disabilities.
You will review the Initial Assessment, identifying participant needs to be addressed, agree a SSMART, personalised Action Plan with each participant which is tailored to their individual needs and specifies agreed, realistic goals including employment/training/family support etc. You will also provide advice, guidance, coaching, and support to participants via regular one-to-one progress
The role will be based in a designated Branch with outreach requirements and flexibility to cover other sites.
This post involves contact with vulnerable adults, in accordance with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974).Other relevant recruitment checks will also be carried out, including HMG Baseline Personnel Security Standard and prison vetting and clearances as required.
