Are you an experienced apprentice trained Mechanical fitter / Assembly Technician, who is looking for their next contract opportunity? How would you like to work within a global company assisting in the fitting and assembly of safety critical products?
My client are world leaders in braking systems for commercial and rail industries, who seek an experienced Mechanical Fitter / Assembly Technician to join their friendly and diverse team on a contract basis. You will be required to work from engineering drawings, and have proven experience using all basic hand tools including torque wrench.
- Ideally trained to NVQ level 3
- Proven experience working with a wide variety of hands-on tools and general workshop machinery
- Ability to read an interpret engineering drawings
The successful candidate will be numerate literate and computer literate, must be able to work manually and be willing to work shifts and overtime. Training alongside their permanent staff initially on days this position will then move onto a 12-hour shift rotation of days /nights.
