My client is looking to recruit a Manufacturing Process Improvement Engineer to join their manufacturing business based in Wiltshire.
They manufacture safety critical components for various blue-chip companies throughout the world, and are now looking to recruit this position to strengthen their manufacturing support team. They have a global presence with other manufacturing sites within the world, and this opportunity will bring with it the opportunity to develop as an Engineer and learn new skills within the role.
The main function of the role will be the research and development of new manufacturing processes and techniques that may me suitable to implement within the business to improve productivity, cycle times and waste. Will also involve the design and validation of new tooling, jigs and fixtures for NPI whilst supporting production with current product manufacturing processes.
The successful candidate will have the following experience:
- Ideally educated to degree level or a minimum of HND in manufacturing
- Lean manufacturing experience
- FMEA, SPC and capability analysis experience
- Process automation experience including robotics and plc programming.
Suitable candidate will have held similar positions such as Industrial Engineer, Process Engineer, Automation Engineer and ideally have previous experience working within the Automotive industry.
