Maintenance Engineer
£32,000 Per Annum

07.30 - 16.00 Monday to Thursday and 07.30 to 15.30 on a Friday

Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer? Do you have demonstratable experience in a similar role? Are you a team player with the ability to organise workload and manage your time effectively? If so, we want to hear from you!

Our client who designs and manufactures bespoke electronic solutions for blue chip organisation nationwide, is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer, to join their established team in the Chippenham area.

General Requirements;

  • Maintain all equipment produced.
  • Fault finding to component level on high voltage, analogue, digital and microprocessor based electronic equipment.
  • Reading and understanding circuit schematic drawings.
  • Use of diagnostic test equipment including the everyday use of oscilloscopes.
  • Measure high voltage and current.

Person Specification;

  • Proven experience in equipment maintenance engineering.
  • Experience of fault finding to component level is essential.
  • A strong understanding of calibration principles.
  • Possess some knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Experience of fault finding to component level is essential.
  • Self-motivated, with a flexible attitude towards the role.
  • Due to the nature of the role, a flexible approach is required to meet occasional unscheduled demands.
  • Able to communicate effectively at all levels & build relationships with all departments.
  • Commit to the continuous improvement & effectiveness of the Maintenance team.
  • Competent IT skills and understanding of software packages.
  • Good understanding of health and safety policies and procedures.

  • Required Qualification;
  • HNC in Electrical Engineering.
