My client is looking to recruit an experienced Quality Inspector to join their engineering business based in Wiltshire. The company manufacture precision parts, primarily serving the automotive, aerospace and power generation industries.
The company has three sites, one in Bath and two in Devizes and this position sits within the company's Aerospace division based in Devizes which is a high tech manufacturing environment, supplying products to manufacturers worldwide including GE Aircraft, Rolls Royce and Honeywell.
Due to an upcoming retirement within the business, my client is looking to recruit an experienced Quality Inspector for the Aerospace Inspection team, and this role requires good all-round understanding of aerospace quality system requirements and inspection and test methods and practices.
The main functions of the role of Quality Inspector will be the Product verification, inspection and test at receipt, in-process and final stages of manufacture. Also, you will be required to have Interaction with internal and external customers and suppliers either directly or through dedicated portals
The successful candidate will have previous quality inspection experience within a manufacturing environment and have the following experience:
- Detail oriented with the ability to identify and clearly define any breaches in customer expectations and requirements.
- Capability and aptitude to achieve relevant accreditations required within the role
- Familiarity with, or the aptitude to learn, the use of a wide variety of inspection and test equipment, with appropriate training.
- It literate in standard software packages
