Financial Services Associate

Salary: £22,000 to £25,000

Location: Leeds

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: Full Time (Monday to Friday 09:00am - 17:00pm)

CMD Recruitment are delighted to be working alongside a true market leader in Wealth Management, during an exciting period of growth and progression. They are seeking an experienced financial professional with a strong operational background to join their amazing team. You will be working within a central operations team in the position of Central Operations Associate within a buzzy head office environment, where you will be carrying out business critical tasks whilst supporting the wider advice team in delivering a truly world class service to their growing client base.

Key Responsibilities of Central Operations Associate;

  • Provide a level of excellence in telephone-based service to both new and existing clients and intermediaries
  • Support a network of offices with client review meeting outputs as agreed by the wealth managers under the client service menu
  • Manage and take ownership of project related activities as requested from senior members through to completion, dealing with any queries arising from such activities
  • Asses clients file documents in accordance with compliance requirements, identifying and correcting remedial actions as requested
  • Support senior colleagues and advisers with recommendations and ideas for improvements to operational efficiencies across the team

The successful candidate will be able to evidence the following;

  • Minimum of 2 years working in operational role within a financial industry, with a proven record of excellence
  • Excellent standard of education with a burning desire to develop further including the undertaking of any relevant exams
  • A minimum qualification of Certificate in Financial Administration (CF1) or equivalent,
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Proficient IT skills in core Microsoft Office Systems
