Are you an experienced communications professional looking to work for an industry leading client? Do you have a background in comms and PR and are looking for a new challenge? How does an incredible benefits package along with an outstanding and dynamic team around you sound?

My client who is a leader in their industry are currently seeking an experienced Communications Officer to join their communications team. Reporting directly to the Group Communications Manager you'll be tasked with supporting the day to day communication activities of the company, to both internal and external audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Copywriting tasks for booklets and newsletters both internal and external
  • Write and edit copy for the company's periodic magazines
  • Content writing for the website and marketing campaigns
  • Review, create and edit company social media content
  • Design and produce publications
  • Review design for both online and offline content
  • Organise and assist with corporate events alongside senior management team

Person Specification

An adaptable approach and creative mindset are key for this position as well as a diverse understanding of digital technologies. CIM/CIPR qualifications are desirable, although not essential for our client.

Industry experience is not essential although a strong background in communications is. The successful applicant will have worked within an internal communications team and will have experience in all of the above responsibilities.

You will have great attention to details and a background in communication and PR for a large company.

Due to the nature of the role a valid and clean UK driving licence is essential.
