Our client is looking for a Business Development Executive to join their fast-paced sales team to drive sales among business to business customers in the industrial, commercial and retail sectors.
It is essential that applicants have experience in previous customer service roles and a goal to develop their career in telesales and account manager. Excellent customer service skills are essential and the ability to communicate well between different members of the team and with suppliers is a must.
Candidates should be able to work well with any part of their team, have a keen eye to detail and manage stakeholders to an effective level. Being an office based role, the ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and be able to enter data with high levels of accuracy.
As a Business Development Executive, the successful candidate will be expected to take inbound calls from customers and make outbound calls to increase sales as part of their daily routine. They will be expected to make negations that will win business contracts and to up-sell associated products to clients.
When dealing with customers, the candidate will be required to answer any questions a customer may have and be able to process orders quickly and effectively. Updating stock levels and reporting figures to customers is also an important part of the role.
Completing admin tasks will also be a key part of the role including creating sales reports, updating orders on the company system and assisting with month end processes.
