Training & Development Officer - Passenger Transport
Working in Partnership with Stagecoach Bus
Tutor/Teacher/Trainer/L&D Consultant 
Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 per annum
Sheffield 
37.5 hours per week 

CMD are recruiting for one of the UK’s leading training providers .
The introduction of the Apprenticeship Levy has created some new and exciting opportunities for my client to work with some large household names ensuring their employees receive the highest standard of accredited training and development.
 
This particular role is working in partnership with Stagecoach Bus 
 
Stagecoach is the UK's biggest bus and coach operator, with around 8,500 buses and coaches on a network stretching from south-west England to the Highlands and Islands of Scotland. Low-cost coach service, megabus.com, operates a network of inter-city services across the UK.

For the first 3 – 6 months of the contract the focus will be curriculum development to ensure that my client can implement a successful Passenger Transport Apprenticeship Programme.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for ensuring that my clinet has a high quality passenger transport curriculum for their learners and employers. This includes understanding the needs of the Passenger Transport industry and ensuring that my client has  the content, processes and assurance needed to offer a curriculum that meets their needs and is deliverable to the highest standard. 



 
On launch of the pilot the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high quality teaching, guidance and support to  learners and their employers to ensure an excellent learning experience.



The ideal candidate will be able to deliver up to Level 2 in Passenger Services and be confident to deliver all stages of the programme from initial engagement, meeting with prospective employers and learners, use a range of teaching methods and techniques to suit individual learners and deliver all aspects of the Apprenticeship provision.

The ideal candidate will have experience in driving a bus or a coach as the vocational experience is essential
