An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic & passionate HR Executive to join the team

This is a role where you will be involved in all aspects of HR & Training & Development which offers you the opportunity to grow & progress within the company


Ensuring the business complies with all recruitment policies, Laws, Regulations & interpreting & advising management on employment law. Developing & implementing policies on issues like working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures & absence management
Having in depth conversations with people over the phone & face to face
Developing job descriptions, preparing job adverts, checking application forms, short listing, interviewing & selecting candidates alongside department managers. Carrying out background & reference checks on prospective employees
Typing up contracts, & providing all the relevant paperwork on offer of employment whilst compiling the new employee starter pack
Planning & sometimes delivering training – including inductions with new employees. Analysing training needs in conjunction with department managers
Setting up, monitoring & then tracking employee probationary periods
Maintenance of the HR online systems & hard copy system
Dealing with grievances, implementing disciplinary procedures & resolving disputes between different parties  
Undertaking salary reviews and/or negotiating with staff on issues relating to pay & conditions
Producing weekly & monthly reporting
Handling all confidential information in a professional manner
Eager to progress within role & take on more responsibility
Other ad hoc jobs as requested & completing tasks by deadlines set


Previous HR & administration experience essential
Confident to deal with incoming telephone calls, meetings & face to face conversations/disputes at all levels
Ability to multi-task
Can work as part of a team or on own initiative without supervision
High attention to detail required
Reliable, punctual and highly motivated
Own transport essential due to rural location
GCSE Grade C+ in English and Maths
Fully conversant in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
