Waste Sales Consultant
Radstock, Somerset

My client a fast growing waste management company are looking for a waste sales consultant to join the team.
This is a brand new role with huge scope to grow the business and your role. As such, duties and tasks within this job spec may change or be adapted to suit the development of the role.

Responsibilities include:

Dealing with customer enquiries, managing calls, emails, and own diary management.
Being out on the road meeting new and old clients, representing the company, providing
excellent customer service and building contacts.
Creating new, and improving existing processes for sales, sales targets, drivers rounds and timetable
Managing customer enquires and requests for waste services.
Researching and managing the Company’s reach and developing strategies for increased contact,
business and waste services.
Liaising with the Site, Office, Finance and Transport managers to ensure the effective and efficient
administration of customer accounts.
Meeting and setting sales objectives and targets.

Ideal candidate will be/have:
A background in waste management sales.

Excellent customer service skills experience and be able to deal with customer enquiries appropriately
and in a timely manner.
Experience working within a fast-paced environment, able to work individually and within a small varied team.
Good Microsoft Office skills - Word, Excel, Outlook.
A strong communicator, approachable and an excellent team player.
Good time management skills, with an ability to anticipate requirements and prioritise workloads.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with an ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Demonstrable sensitivity and the ability to manage and hold confidential information effectively.
A proactive individual, able to work on own initiative and be an effective problem solver.

The successful candidate will have access to free parking on site and use of a company vehicle when on company business.
