Process Operator – Final Test
Our prestigious client is currently seeking a Process Operator, to work from their site based locally to Chippenham. The company offer bespoke electronic solutions, to a multitude of blue-chip organisation worldwide.
Within the role you will carry out a variety of normal day-to-day production duties and will be required to support and work closely with Cell Leaders and the Team Leader of the Device Processing team, who in turn report to the Operations Manager. You will be a key part of the operation to bring world leading products to the market.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out all tasks associated with cold weld of materials and devices and completing post weld leak test (full training provided).
  • Attention to detail is essential.
  • Completion of computerised and handwritten paperwork (such as Batch Sheets) accompanying elements to the next production stage
  • Responsible for all other device processing operations as required
  • Operate within the guidelines for Health & Safety and emergency procedures, particularly those identified in the Occupational Health & Safety Management System
  • 0600 – 1400 -Monday to Thursday
  • 0600 – 1330 – Friday
  • 37 hours per week
Essential Qualifications/Role Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 GCSE passes including Maths & English (Grade C and above)
  • Numerate and methodical approach to work, showing attention to detail, legibility and accuracy
  • Windows based computer experience an advantage but not essential.
  • JDE (or similar ERP MRP) operating system experience would be an advantage
  • Self-motivated, with a flexible attitude towards the role
  • Able to communicate effectively and build relationships with other departments
  • Committed to continuous improvement and effectiveness of the device processing team
  • Willingness to work additional hours occasionally to meet deadlines
